When a leak within the CIA results in the brutal torture and death of a U.S. spy in Tehran, who just gave information to the CIA about a crooked American contractor in Iran, Joe DeMarco is tasked to investigate. Teaming up with the CIA, DeMarco discovers that the victim once had a fling with a journalist now serving time in prison and threatening to unravel DeMarco's entire operation.
