Summary
Corral Canyon
When Al Castle stumbled into a place in the mountains, which was completely surrounded by nearly-vertical cliff faces, he made camp. The following morning, he was routed out by the noise of cattle -- and two bearded, hard-faced men. That they were part of a gang that had stolen cattle seemed to be a reasonable suspicion, but later some hard facts emerged. Now, because Al Castle had been inside the canyon corral, local folks believed that he was one of the rustlers as well. There was a lynching party set up for Al Castle, and it looked like he would surely be a dead man soon.
