Everest : the death zone
A documentary on the toll that the ascent and descent of Mt. Everest can take on even experienced and trained mountain climbers. The cold, the lack of oxygen and the harrowing climb can cause permanent damage to the human body and brain. Scientists monitor a team of hikers to measure the effects.
