Writer Zack Walker and his family move back to the city and Zack takes a job as features writer for the city paper. While researching his first feature article, Zack stumbles upon a real-life crime scene and finds himself at the centre of a violent crime wave. Meanwhile, his daughter's rejected suitor may be stalking her, and his son begins acting strangely.
