To die for

In a small town in New Hampshire, a media sensation erupts over a murder case against Suzanne Stone, in which she is accused of persuading teenagers to kill her husband, Larry Maretto. Obsessed with becoming a TV personality from childhood, she meets Larry in his family's Italian restaurant and they marry. At the local cable station where she presents the weather, Suzanne works on a documentary about high school kids and she recruits three troubled youths, Jimmy, Russell and Lydia. They are convinced that she cares about them. Larry wants children, and she views this as an impediment to her career. She seduces Jimmy and tells the three that Larry mistreats her. Jimmy and Russell kill Larry. The police track them down through her footage of them. Suzanne tapes her side of the story and meets a man who claims to be a Hollywood producer, but who is actually hired by Larry's father to kill her.
