Uncertain soldier
Seventeen-year-old Erich, a prisoner of war working at a northern Alberta logging camp, and twelve-year-old Max, who lives in the nearby town would be unlikely friends, except that neither has anyone else to turn to. During World War II, they are both easy targets for the locals' grief and anger against the Nazis. When a series of accidents shake the logging camp, they pressure Erich to find the saboteur.
