In 1975, Nina Bunjevac's mother fled her marriage and adopted country of Canada to go back to Yugoslavia. Her father Peter was an exiled Serbian nationalist. Staying in Canada, Peter joins terrorists who plan on attacking the supporters of the Communist Yugoslav government in North America. Then in 1977, Peter was accidentaly killed in an explosion while building a bomb.
