The jester
Hugh De Luc, a poor innkeeper, returns home from the First Crusade to find his son killed and his wife abducted by a ruthless duke in search of a priceless relic dating back to the Crucifixion. Posing as a jester, Hugh infiltrates the court where he believes his wife is held captive and embarks on a battle to restore his broken life.
