A girl begins shoveling a trail in a desperate attempt to save a pair of horses stranded in the mountains after a snow storm. Her actions prompt first her father, and then the whole community, to band together, pitch in, and fill themselves with the Christmas spirit by selflessly helping the endangered creatures
