Max, a master thief, and his nephew, Owen, spend the summer touring the American southwest on a journey that will see Owen educated in the ways of a thief, the rescue of a Vegas waitress, on the run from other thieves and Owen's slow realization that the person he loves the most is the one who can do him the most harm.
