When Amy, a writer of romantic fiction, finds herself door-stepped by the tabloid press, her secret married lover, a TV presenter, panics and suggests she goes into hiding. She chooses a remote hotel on the North Devon coast where she meets Tim, a music teacher, who has been accidentallly injured by an unruly class.
