The banjo pub songbook
These rousing Irish folksongs have been sung in pubs for generations. They've been passed down in the oral tradition, and in the process have spawned many vaiatins in lyric, temp, and hamony. The stories and melodies however have held fast. The arrangements in this 35-song collection include the vocal melodies, lyrics, chord diagrams and tabs for the 5-string banjo. 3-Finger picking annotation are also included below the tab, but the arrangements can easily be adpated for plectrum use. Feel free to take liberties, just as the forbearers have, when playing these grand tales of the motherland, love, whiskey and ale.
