Destroyed : commercial fishing in Niagara, 1830's - 1955, from boom to bust
Two boxcars a day signified a good day's fishing. The greed of the fisherman overcame his better judgement. He eradicated a whole way of life. No predators to keep the invasive species in check, they turned viral. Two drowned while helpless among the entangled nets ad ropes. Whitefish were piled in great maharajan pyres, and torched. The pigs came down to eat what they wanted.
