The Kajeet SmartSpot is a portable internet hotspot that you can borrow from the library to provide free internet access to Wi-Fi enabled smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Get the most from this device by using it for basic internet searches, browsing and email.

Kajeet Wi-Fi Hotspots are meant for educational use and there are built-in restrictions to be aware of. Blocked sites include: criminal and age-inappropriate content; high bandwidth or popular consumer sites and app traffic (streaming services, noneducational games, text/pic/video chat sites, etc.); social media sites; various protocol and security risks such as proxies, P2P, IPSEC VPN, etc. Kajeet makes use of Google Safesearch and Youtube Restricted Mode.
The Hotspot can be borrowed on an adult library card for 1 week.
The Hotspot is shelved behind the desk. Please ask a staff member for help if you'd like to borrow one.
Appropriate use of this device is stipulated within the Niagara Falls Public Library Internet and Technology Use Policy. The library card holder who checked out this device is responsible for its appropriate care and use. The patron account will be charged with the replacement cost for ANY lost or damaged device.
