A thousand miles behind
After losing his wife and daughter, Preston Avery finds himself suddenly trapped in grief and isolated in a now empty house. As the days bleed together, all hope seems to be lost until a motorcycle mysteriously appears one. In an act of restless despair, he sets out on a solo trip across California. On the road, he crosses paths with a young woman named Tracey, who is finally able to break through his fog of grief just long enough to throw him a lifeline back into the land of the living.
