The identical twin brothers are living lives that couldn't look more different. Erik is a single and broke surfer bum whose failures are abundantly on display while Adam leads a seemingly successful life as a businessman and family man. Adam is accidentally killed by his wife, Ingrid, when she attempts to break up a fight between the two brothers. To avoid getting arrested for the murder and to save his brother's family, Erik assumes Adam's identity.
