Shea Rigsby was born and raised in Walker, TX. Her whole life has revolved around football. Her best friend's father is the legendary Walker football coach, and after graduating from college Shea stayed behind in her hometown to work for the college athletic department, not even considering other options. When tragedy strikes the Walker community, Shea finds herself closely examining her future. Is this what she truly wants out of life? At the coach's insistence she starts to branch out and see what else is out there. Shea's story starts fast and compelling but slowly peters out into cringe-worthy moments and awkward scenarios before a predictable ending. Sofia Willingham's cool narration saves the work from being too bogged down in football and awkwardness. Verdict Only for fans of the author and the chick lit genre.-Erin Cataldi, Johnson Cty.
