Edit is just an average psychology student in the year 2074. As a volunteer at a research center, she spends time with Abel, a mathematical genius who has discovered a special formula that gives him absolute power over the land. Abel has not communicated with anyone since his discovery. Edit's close friend Herb secretly implants a microchip in her brain that allows her to communicate with Abel. Soon the microchip develops its own personality as Edit's parallel persona.
