Rosie's glasses

Whamond, Dave. (Author).

Rosie wakes up one morning with a black cloud over her head. Her cloud stays with her as she plods through her miserable, gray day. Her parents don't have time for her, it's pouring rain and school couldn't be more boring. But everything changes when, while chasing a butterfly, she finds a pair of glasses on the way home from school. She puts them on, and her world transforms into vibrant joyful color. All of a sudden, she can see the beauty and fun in everything around her. When Rosie accidentally drops her magic glasses into the pond, the color immediately disappears once again from her world. But Rosie comes to understand that changing her view of the world can change her experience of it, and that happiness doesn't always have to come in vivid technicolor.
