The senator and the priest
United States Senator Tommy Moran, an Irish Catholic from Chicago, fights for the underprivileged and wants to restore civility to American politics. His enemies don't share his scruples and Tommy and his family find themselves besieged by vicious personal attacks. The opposition that hits home the hardest, however, comes from his brother--a conservative Catholic priest who sides with Tommy's political enemies.
