The Stranger House
Sam Flood, a young Australian mathematician and Miguel Madero, a Spanish wannabe-priest-turned historian, are guests at the Stranger House inn in the village of Illthwaite. The antipathy between them is instant and mutual, but as they follow their separate quests their paths become increasingly entangled.
