Dundurn Press, the original imprint of The Dundurn Group, was founded by Kirk Howard and Ian Low in 1973. With a strong focus on Canadian history, biography, and art, Dundurn has significantly contributed to a deeper understanding of Canadian history and culture, publishing such landmark books as Canadian Art in the Twentieth Century, The Loyalist Mosaic, and First Person, the biography of Carine Wilson, Canada's first woman senator.
