Christmas in the lone star state
Ten days before Christmas, Texas Ranger Bill Sayles arrives at the state prison in Huntsville, Texas, to escort prisoner Jake Eddings to the funeral of his 10-year-old son. Eddings has been sentenced to 15 years for his part in a stagecoach holdup in which the driver was shot and killed-a desperate scheme to save his farm that has instead torn his family apart. With 13 years left to serve, he feels hopeless about ever reuniting with his wife and getting his life back. On their way back to prison, they stumble across the crime scene of Mal and Lute Litchfield, brothers who fled England as wanted men, brothers without mercy or morals who have left a trail of violence in their wake. Sayles and Eddings set out to stop these outlaws before they can hurt anyone else-and with any luck, make it home before Christmas.
